Heather, born in Nova Scotia, is a skilled local artisan known for her creativity and intelligence. She has a diverse range of talents including knitting, crocheting, playing the Alto Saxophone and Bass clarinet, painting, and cross-stitching. She even repurposed an old toilet into a plant pot on her patio. Alongside her artistic endeavors, Heather is an avid gardener.
For over 30 years, Heather worked as a telephone operator. She is also a devoted wife and proud grandmother. Heather has a generous spirit, spending over a decade knitting catnip mice to donate to the SPCA. Each year, she creates 200 mice, which consistently sell out, raising over $12,000 for the organization. Her efforts have made a significant impact on fundraising efforts for animal welfare.
